Located in the historic Washington Street Neighborhood, just a few blocks from downtown, the Winter Street Center’s Event Hall features tall ceilings, abundant natural light, and beautiful original woodwork—a warm and memorable setting for special occasions.

The hall is ideal for weddings, receptions, celebrations, meetings, lectures, performances, and community events.

Insurance Requirements

Renters must provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) naming Sagadahoc Preservation, Inc. (SPI) as an additional insured for the day(s) of the event. Most insurance providers can issue this certificate at no additional cost.

If alcohol will be served, the COI must include liquor liability coverage listed separately. Please note that standard general liability policies typically do not cover food or product service.

To help preserve this historic building, smoking and open flames are not permitted anywhere inside or outside the Winter Street Center.
