Brad Terry and his impromptu quintet will take the stage and provide a behind-the-scenes look at how five top-tier jazz musicians improvise and communicate musically. Brad is a living legend in his own right, and has performed with an extraordinary array of famous jazz musician of the 20th and 21st centuries. He will be joined for this concert by Peter Herman and Tony Gaboury on guitars, Bill Morrison on bass, and Sheldon Perkins on Drums. Working from a mutually agreed upon list of tunes with no set program and no rehearsal, and following a brief discussion of what they will play next and a bit of history of the origin of the tune, they will launch into the unknown, improvising together to create musical magic.
